The Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department’s summer swim lesson program is designed to provide individuals of all ages with a safe and enjoyable learning experience in the water. The program will offer swimming and water safety instruction led by certified swim instructors.
Program Details

Registration and Cost
Registration for the summer swim lesson program will open on Thursday, May 1, and can be completed in person at the Smith-Hazel Recreation Center, 416 Kershaw St. S.E., or online at cityofaikensc.recdesk.com and search “Swim Lessons” under programs.
The cost of the program is $30 per participant.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance, as the program has limited capacity.
Additionally, applications for the Fun Funds Youth Scholarship are available to help offset the swim lesson cost for those who qualify.
